>I love throwing special birthday parties for my children! Coming up with a fun theme, making up games and activities that relate to that theme, and then watching the fun the children have at the party.

Unfortunately, whenever I throw one of these special parties, I spend so much of the actual event running around like a chicken with its head cut off that my pictures of the party really suffer. In fact, my son’s last football-themed party resulted in only 10 photos to document 4 hours of fun. It was so disappointing! As an avid scrapbooker, I so value having pictures to remember those special moments of our lives.

This is why I came up with the idea to offer my services as a professional photographer at children’s birthday parties. It allows the parents to fully engage in all the party activities knowing that the party is being completely documented photographically. And that they will have a photo book full of memories to treasure for years to come.

Mia’s mom requested a more scrapbook-like photo book for her daughter’s Survivor-themed party, and it was so much fun to create! Here are a few of the pages from her finished birthday photo album:

Her mom had spent a lot of time hand-making this large sign that hung on the wall to greet the guests, and it seemed appropriate to use a photo of that sign to begin her book.

If you would like to sit back and enjoy your child’s next birthday party, contact me to schedule full photographic coverage of the event. My basic birthday party package even includes a 30 minute mini-session before the party to get some individual portraits of the birthday child.

And if you love the idea of a birthday scrapbook as opposed to a basic photo book, I’d be happy to provide a quote for one of these one-of-a-kind keepsakes.
